Mount Hermon’s Facilities

Conference Center
The largest of Mount Hermon’s three facilities, the Conference Center is a complex of meeting and dining rooms, various types of lodging, main offices, recreation facilities, a chapel and a bookshop. Each fall, winter and spring, groups of 25 to 650 guests use the Center. It is a convenient base for exploring the Santa Cruz area and a beautiful natural setting for relaxing.

Range Of Accommodations
Several varieties of hotel and cabin units offer an assortment of prices for lodging. Couples, singles, families and young people are comfortably and affordably housed.

The accommodations are grouped into three different types:
Deluxe: Carpeted rooms, private bath, lanai, bed pre-made, everything is furnished. 90 units total/250 beds.

Standard: Private bath, beds pre-made, everything is furnished. 54 units total/158 beds.

Economy: Bedding, towels and soap furnished, beds not made, semi-private baths. 84 units total/202 beds.

Meeting Rooms
Meeting rooms accommodate from 25 to 650 guests. Many meeting areas have fireplaces and pianos. Sound systems, taping and audio/visual equipment are available by arrangement. Our Child Care Center is an excellent facility for infants through kindergarteners. Guests must furnish their own program personnel.

Ponderosa Lodge

Up on the Summit
Wreathed with rare Ponderosa pines and native oaks, Ponderosa Lodge is the high school, college and single-adult ministry facility. An architectural award winner, the Lodge blends naturally with the mountain setting.

Exclusive Use
High school and college/singles groups are the primary guests. Choir retreats, leadership gatherings, men’s and women’s conferences have also successfully used the Lodge.

Accommodations
Cabins are heated and carpeted and have full bathrooms. Guests sleep on built-in bunk beds. For speakers and leadership staff, there are four guest rooms, each with private bath.

Facilities and Grounds
The Forum provides central meeting space with baby grand piano, sound system and stone fireplace. Seating is on carpeted, terraced steps. The Fireside Lounge has a fireplace, couches, tables and library. The game room offers ping-pong and pool. Additional meeting rooms are available. The Fountain has vending machines and tables.

Redwood Camp

A Historical Site
Zayante Indians, primitive sawmill operators, and later vacationing San Franciscans have slept under the trees at Redwood Camp. The site is rich in historical significance and is set in a beautiful creekside location.

Multiple Uses
In addition to elementary and junior high groups, Redwood Camp is ideal for church and family camps, outdoor education, choir retreats, schools and leadership conferences.

Accommodations
Heated cabins lodge eight persons each on bunk-style beds. Restrooms and showers are heated and centrally located. Two leadership cabins for staff and speakers provide seven bedrooms with washbasins; toilets and showers are shared.

Facilities
Zayante Lodge has a stone fireplace, piano and sound system. It is carpeted and has folding chairs available. A lounge near the dining room may be used by staff or for small-group meetings. The outdoor amphitheater is a perfect arena for campfires, songfests and meetings.

Kidder Creek Location
Kidder Creek borders the Marble Mountain Wilderness and the Klamath National Forest, and sits in the shadows of majestic Mount Shasta in Northern California. These outdoor arenas offer us opportunities for Whitewater rafting, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Backpacking, High Ropes Course and an unforgettable Peak Ascent.

Purpose
Kidder Creek desires to use its wilderness program and personnel to design and run customized high-adventure programs. Our goal is to fit the needs of youth pastors and outreach ministries in making teams committed to growing deeper in Christ. We offer custom designed adult and parent/child wilderness expeditions and adventures, taking advantage of the spectacular setting for unforgettable memories.

Programs
Kidder Creek offers a full range of youth camping experiences during the summer months. Elementary, Junior High and High School camps offer traditional camping, wilderness experiences, and a range of horse skills and riding camps.
