The First Fall Frenzy
is in the books!

Description

School has started, patterns have formed... Break the Pattern.

Fall Frenzies at Mount Hermon is right where you need to be. This is a weekend that will spur on your inner crazy and bring it to the forefront. Come to Mount Hermon and experience all that you are and have the potential to be. Engage in killer worship, be challenged by “down to earth,” “I understand what you're saying” speakers, deepen relationships with your friends or other people in your youth group, and have that conversation with Jesus you've been meaning to have in a place unlike any other in the world.

This year's theme:

“Justified: Peace with God”

This weekend is jam packed with: Crazy Large Group Games, High Ropes Adventures Paintball, Laser Tag, Surfing, Skate Park, Heated Pool!

Speaker | Christian Gross

Christian Gross or as many know him, ‘Bo,’ was born and raised in Monterey, California. After high school he attended Azusa Pacific University where he studied Interpersonal and Organizational Communications and Youth Ministry. Bo was involved with camping ministry through Young Life and at Mount Hermon for a number of years before accepting a potion as an Area Director for Young Life in early 2012. He has a passion for reaching people with the Gospel and developing leaders to live out their calling. He is also passionate about sharing the Word of God and teaching in a way that connects to people. Bo and his wife Mandy live in San Diego and his free time he loves to surf, take outdoor adventures, and cook!

Recreation

Ponderosa Lodge Basketball Courts

There are plenty of courts at Ponderosa Lodge to keep the next NBA stars entertained. Half court or full court, there's plenty of room to pick up and throw down.

Disc Golf

A fun and challenging nine-hole disc golf course that navigates through our indigenous ponderosa pines.

High Ropes

Our high ropes courses will push you higher and farther with these aerial challenges. Climb the tower, take a leap, traverse the wires and travel through the air on our new zip line!

Paint Ball

Duck, dive, and shoot your way through bunkers, barrels, ditches, and the natural terrain of our paint ball course.

Ponderosa Pool

Hang at our HEATED pool, in the center of camp, and maybe even hit the high dive if you’re game. The pool is perfect for chilling, lap swims, or an exciting game of water basketball or water polo. The lights in the pool at night make the pool area a very popular hangout and activity.

Skate Park

Hit the street course at Ponderosa Lodge featuring ramps, half pipe, quarter bowl, and kink. This course works great for skateboards, blades and scooters.

Laser Tag

With enough units to facilitate two teams, these laser markers make camp the ultimate laser tag arena. You won't find inflatable barriers here, but how often do you get to hide behind a giant redwood or ponderosa pine when playing Laser Tag? Exactly. It's awesome.

Crafts

There's always something cool and exciting to make to help you remember your time at camp. Crafts range in ability and appeal for all ages and our counselors make craft time fun for girls and boys.
