Mount Hermon Family Camp means fun and excitement! Our outstanding Child Care, Day Camp, Youth tracks and expanded collegiate offerings are a vibrant part of the Mount Hermon summer—and we offer babysitting of your younger campers so you can spend time with your older kids! Fabulous speakers, seminar leaders and musicians make a week of Family Camp an experience you won't forget!
In family times together you'll enjoy BBQ's, outdoor Pancake Breakfasts and superb meals in the Mount Hermon Dining Hall. Flex breakfasts and salad bars at lunch and dinner are a great weekly feature. Family adventures include hikes, a train ride to Santa Cruz, family games, campfires and S'mores! Family portraits offered each week will capture your memories—maybe even next year's Christmas card! An incredible communicator and author of over a dozen books, Bill is a highly sought–after speaker across the country. He is also the founder of the Butterworth Communications Institute and one of our most beloved speakers at Mount Hermon family camps. A gifted storyteller, Bill has helped countless people leave their legacy by telling their own story. He has served on the vision committee for this conference since it began and is excited about what he has seen God do in the lives of those who attend.
Before serving as the chaplain for Wheaton college, Tim was Senior Pastor and Head of Staff at The American Protestant Church of The Hague, the Netherlands. In that role, he led an expatriate congregation of people from 55 countries and an equal number of denominations. Rev. Blackmon has been ordained in the Christian Reformed Church in North America since 1995.
A recording artist and author, Jesse enjoyed ministry as a worship leader prior to founding Rain City Church in Seattle, WA. Now a Lead Pastor and teacher, this week is a return to worship leading and a chance to serve with his dad. raincitychurch.com
As Senior Pastor, Bud leads Stockton Covenant's efforts in going deeper in Christ and growing roots in the surrounding neighborhoods. Bud also serves with the Stockton Police Department as the School Resource Chaplain at Madison Elementary School.

Cabins provide a home-style environment nestled among the redwoods. Linens and towels are provided along with a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, utensils and space for dining.

Lodge Rooms are perfect welcoming spaces with varying views of the redwoods and the grounds. Each have private baths, linens provided, furnishings & decor, and spacious rooms.

We have made improvements to serve you even better. This year there will be specific pre-registration days set aside for each week of Family Camp allowing for the fastest access to online registration and registrars for those needing assistance during the registration process.

Once a week is open for registration, it stays open exclusively for 2016 returning guests until October 2. Please note you will be unable to register any guests who did not attend Family Camp in 2016 during this time frame. Please call reservations after October 2nd to add them to your existing registration. If you’re interested in a very specific cabin these pre-registration windows are for you. If you prefer a Lodge Room, no rush. Just register during the pre-registration window.
Families who are being referred, who are new, or who did not attend Family Camp 2016 qualify for general registration.
Any interested families in the general public can now register for Family Camp. Popular weeks may be full at this time, but there will still be space at other great weeks in the summer.

Right in the action. These accommodations are as close to the centralized activities on camp as it gets.
A great balance between access and privacy. Easy access to the activities with enough distance to retreat.
You'll feel like you've got your own private retreat. These accommodations are further away from the central activities.

Swimwear Guidelines & Safety rules
Boys and men are asked to wear firmly secured, non-sagging swim suits, not bikini style Speedo bottoms, nor underwear, boxer shorts or ripped or cut street shorts.
Girls and women are asked to wear modest swimwear appropriate for a family pool. Modest one-piece bathing suits are appropriate for all ages, as well as two piece suits that include ‘swim shorts’ or ‘swim skirts,’ or two-piece suits that accomplish full coverage. Most bikinis, high French-cut suits, or thongs are not considered ‘modest’ by these standards, even if worn with a cover-up when outside the pool.
Please use changing rooms for changing into swim attire (regardless of age) and wear suitable cover-ups when walking from your house to the pool area. Lifeguards exercise full authority on appropriate attire. If attire is not appropriate, residents may be asked to wear a T-shirt, cover-up or to leave the pool area. Staff members are held to the same standards as guests. A full list of rules is posted at the pool. Children under 18 must pass a swim test to go past shoulder depth.

Snacks, sodas and packaged ice creams will be on sale at the conference center pool this summer. Be sure to pack some cash in your pool bag!
Advanced sign-up required for participation in the following activities. Sign-ups will be held on the field Sunday evening 5:30–6:30pm and in the commons area Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri 8:00–9:00am & 10:45–11:15am. Look for the adventure & recreation staff in light blue shirts!
Pet and Service Animal Policy
Due to the unique nature of a “temporary community” shared by hundreds of guests at one time, Mount Hermon does not permit pets to accompany guests during their stay. Mount Hermon does comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements for “service animals.” Guests and their service animal will be provided accommodations and facility access in the same manner as all guests. The qualification of a “service animal” must meet the definition given in the Americans with Disabilities Act: “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability.” Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are not considered service animals under the ADA, and therefore not permitted at Mount Hermon Family Camps. A list of excellent local pet boarding services is available upon request.
