A time to reflect.

With Fall comes a change of season and a change of pace. This change is particularly noticeable at Mount Hermon where leaves change color and fall, the squirrels are busy gathering acorns for winter and the deer stay closer to the streams for water. If we take our clues from nature, we too will want to change our pace in fall and plan some time to come away to Mount Hermon, to take time to reflect on the changes in our own lives, to gather some wisdom to see us through the winter and to stay close to our source of ‘living water’. All of the Mount Hermon Reflective Retreats are designed to provide a quantity of time alone with the Lord. There will be several short sessions of input around a scriptural theme and then you will be released to spend time alone with Jesus with materials created to facilitate your experience. Two weekends to chose from.

While this retreat is designed to provide the space and quiet to nurture the soul, there are also ample opportunities for fellowship with like-minded women around great meals and free time. Mount Hermon's adventure facilities and popular recreation options like ocean kayaking are an option for an additional cost, as well as the Redwood Canopy Tours and massage are also an option for an additional cost.

Jayne Price began the Reflective Retreat ministry in 1995. She has been leading retreats for over 37 years and is currently working on her certification as a Spiritual Director with the ministry of Sustainable Faith.

Your room has been furnished with two sets of towels. Should you need a replacement, please come by the front desk.


Meals are included and all meals are served in the Dining Hall at the Conference Center. Meals at the Conference Center include a wide variety of well-prepared food with diverse options, including Gluten Free Options, Salad Bars, and Mount Hermon favorites.

Fitness Center

A fully equipped Fitness Center is available to registered guests. It is located on the lower level of Youth Memorial. Participants must be 16 years of age or older in order to use the equipment. Hours: 5:30am–11pm


Many beautiful stream-side trails among the redwoods and ferns are located at Mount Hermon. Trail maps are available at the Front Desk.


Enjoy a special afternoon or evening outing to experience waves, the kelp gardens, sea otters, seals, and even dolphins. A peaceful trip to the ocean can be just what you need during your time away.

Discovery Grove

Discovery Grove consists of 7 different high ropes elements that range from 5 to 20 feet above ground, and ends in a zipline. Discovery Grove is the perfect experience for those who are new to ropes course activities and wanting to start a bit closer to the ground. It is also well-suited for younger kids. All participants wear harnesses, helmets, and are connected to overhead cables by a double system of safety ropes and clips. Discovery Grove is supervised by our expertly trained staff. Participant must be between 45 and 250 pounds and ages 5–6 must be accompanied by an adult.

Board Games

Various board games and card games are available for check out at the Front Desk.

McAfee Fieldhouse

Basketball and volleyball courts are located in the gymnasium on the first floor of the McAfee Fieldhouse. Our spacious game room is located on the second floor of the McAfee Fieldhouse and features ping pong, air hockey, foosball, pool, and shuffleboard. Footballs, soccer balls, Frisbees and other sports equipment can be check out of the fieldhouse office. Bocce ball is also located around the back of the fieldhouse.

We offer the opportunity to add a day to the front of the retreat for those who want to come early, ‘quiet down’ and prepare to listen. Please call registration at 1.888.642.2677 to ask for this option after you have registered via the online form.


Please do not let finances get in the way of a Mount Hermon experience. Through the generosity of many, a partial grant from the Campership Fund may be just the gift you need to make it possible for you to attend camp. What to Pack:

A Few Details

  • Registration begins at 4:30pm Friday
  • Early arrivals can find refreshments in the Registration Building from 3:30–5:00pm
  • Dinner will begin at 7:00pm on Friday evening
  • Dress is very casual throughout the conference. Be prepared for chilly evenings and mornings.
  • You will want your Bible, notebook, flashlight, and possibly your umbrella.
  • Nametags will be provided as your identification for the conference and dining room.
  • You may want to bring walking shoes as hiking in Mount Hermon is a treat.
  • The conference concludes with lunch on Sunday at 12:30pm
  • We will also be offering massages 60 minute time slots for $70. Sign-ups on Friday evening. You pay the therapist directly.
