The historic Kidder Creek Apple Orchard has been a landmark staple for over a century in the Scott Valley. Featuring over 20 varieties, staff and volunteers maintain and care for the orchard throughout the year in order to provide apples to pick during Kidder Creek's Annual Fall Festival.
The Kidder Creek Apple Orchard is naturally maintained without the use of chemical pesticides. It's always a good idea to check that tasty apple before taking a bite. Because of a low output from our apple trees this year, due to a variety of reasons, we ask that guests limit their apple picking to ensure that other families can enjoy picking as well.
We've got you covered. Check out this article from the Food Network:
50 things to make with apples.

Kidder Creek borders the Marble Mountain Wilderness and the Klamath National Forest, and sits in the shadows of majestic Mount Shasta in Northern California. These outdoor arenas offer us opportunities for Whitewater rafting, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Backpacking, High Ropes Course, and Peak Ascents. Kidder Creek operates under permits issued by the Klamath National Forest and is an equal opportunity service provider.
