Discipleship, Leadership, Teamwork, and Responsibility, all in a wilderness setting!

You’ll raft, leap and hike while gaining valuable wilderness camping skills. Working with your team, you will learn to set camp, prepare meals, build fires and navigate life in the high mountain meadows.

This stretching week holds real adventures of backpacking into a pristine high mountain lake, learning teamwork and wilderness skills, making friends that you learn to lean on, and enjoying two days of whitewater rafting.

Backcountry staff receive 3 weeks of training and have at a minimum First Aid and CPR training. Staff will uphold high standards of safety throughout the week of camp.

We will hike into Campbell Lake in the Marble Mountain Wilderness*.  This is a great first backpacking trip that requires moderate fitness levels.  Campers will be carrying all their own food and personal equipment in backpacks that we provide.

Register Soon! We can only take 16 campers.

*Location is subject to change.

Outback Challenge High Ropes Course

Our most challenging high ropes experience features seven individual elements up to 35 feet off of the ground.

Grab a pack and hit the trail with up to 16 other campers as you hike into the magnificent Marble Mountain Wilderness. Babbling brooks and rugged switchbacks won’t stop you from reaching your destination at 5,800ft, Campbell Lake.

Natural Waterfalls

You’ll feel like you’ve entered another world as you hike to a stunning waterfall where you can swim beneath the flow and even jump through the downpour.

Whitewater Rafting - Dragons Tooth (Class IV)

The Dragons Tooth stretch on the Klamath River will thrill seasoned rafters and beginners alike.  Our tallest cliff jump, our most challenging rapid "The Tooth" and a world class canyon hike to Ukonom Falls, are sure to be unforgettable!

Whitewater Rafting - Rattlesnake, Otters, and Gottville Stretches (Class III)

Enjoy Class III rapids that are perfect for beginner and experienced rafters alike.  Cliff jump, swim, get twirled in the whirlpool swimming hole and enjoy the beauty that is enjoyed on the Klamath River.  Eagle, deer and bear are often spotted!

Included in the price:

(5 nights lodging, 16 meals, program and recreation)

Experience matters

Since its inception in 1976, Kidder Creek has consistently given young people a dramatic experience in the outdoors. At the same time our well-trained and relational staff leads them to be challenged by the life-transforming message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please do not let finances get in the way of a Mount Hermon experience. Through the generosity of many, a partial grant from the Campership Fund may be just the gift you need to make it possible for you to attend camp. For more information and an application, please contact our friendly Registration staff.
