Go Deeper, Farther, and Higher.

Summit is an amazing wilderness expedition that will take you into pristine environments and help you discover strengths you didn’t know you had. On this epic two week trip you’ll find yourself exercising leadership techniques and achieving group goals as you journey together through Creation immersing yourself in God’s Word. You’ll go deep into the woods on a 6 day backpacking trip in the Marble Mountain Wilderness, shoot the rapids in inflatable kayaks on an overnight river trip, and learn all about backcountry living alongside leaders that will challenge you to grow in your understanding of who God is and what it means to follow Him.

Backpacking Trip Details - On Day 1 we will hike a gradual trail from Mule Bridge Trailhead on the Southern end of the Marble's.  From there we will spend each day hiking North and deeper into the heart of the Marble's and eventually hiking our way to the Kidder Creek Trailhead on Day 6.  Campers will hike 2 to 12 miles in a day with full packs and should have moderate physical fitness to fully enjoy this camp.

Previous backpacking experience, or participation in a Wilderness Ascent program, is required.

For 10th – 12th graders.

Get fit for camp.

This camp is a step up from the Wilderness Ascent program that introduced you to wilderness and river travel.  At Wilderness Summit you will be traveling farther and higher as you push yourself to new heights both physically and spiritually.

We strongly encourage you to get out and be active leading up to camp so you can best enjoy the adventures of this camp.  On one day of Summit you will backpack over 10 miles!  Walking or hiking, biking and running are great ways to get fit and ready for camp.  We recommend at least three times a week for six weeks leading up to camp.
