Oct 23-25, 2018Santa Cruz Mountains | Conference Center
You are invited to take advantage of the quieter pace of mid-week at Mount Hermon. With fewer guests on the grounds, the opportunity for quiet reflection is enhanced. As an added bonus, the mid-week retreat will begin at 2 pm, expanding the opportunity to stretch our time and experience in reflective exercises.
In Fall leaves lose the chlorophyll that keeps them green revealing the colors red, orange and yellow that were there from the beginning. It often takes time away in quiet reflection for us to see more clearly what lies within us. If we take our clues from nature, we too will want to pause in fall and plan some time to come away to Mount Hermon, to take time to reflect on our inward life and journey. All of the Mount Hermon Reflective Retreats are designed to provide a quantity of time alone with the Lord. There will be several short sessions of input around a scriptural theme and then you will be released to spend time alone with Jesus with materials created to facilitate your experience. There are three opportunities this fall to choose from, 2 weekends and a new mid-week option.
While the retreats are designed to provide the space and quiet to nurture the soul, there are also ample opportunities for fellowship with like-minded women around great meals and free time. Mount Hermon's adventure facilities and popular recreation options like ocean kayaking will be available, weather permitting. The Redwood Canopy Tours and massage are also an option for an additional cost.
Jayne began the Reflective Retreat ministry here at Mount Hermon in 1995. She is passionate about providing experiences for women which draw them into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
