The Gift of Campership

Sharing the transforming love of Jesus Christ through a camp experience is the heartbeat of Mount Hermon. To make this a reality for many campers, financial assistance through our Campership fund is a necessity. In order to target this very significant area of need we are excited to introduce a special campaign called Give Camp 331.

Currently $331 is the average campership amount awarded at Mount Hermon. Some campers need more assistance and some need less but we know our current economy has made life extremely difficult for many.

We ask you to consider partnering with us to make the reality of camp possible for all. Whether you can give a portion or send many to camp, each gift goes towards the chance of blessing someone to come to Mount Hermon and experience the truth of Christ’s love. Give the gift of hope, Give Camp.

Encounter Jesus—lives transformed.

Here are some of our partners

Green Pastures

Since 1977, Green Pastures has been a Christ centered ministry that serves children with disabilities, and their families, through God’s life-changing love. A central part of our vision is providing a Christian home for children with severe physical and/or developmental challenges who are unable to live with their own families.

Angel Tree

Angel Tree is a ministry that reaches out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ. It seeks to transform the lives of these families and to reconcile them to their Heavenly Father and each other.

Elm Street Mission

Elm Street Mission has been helping the homeless and hurting of Santa Cruz since 1972. Elm Street is a Church with a focus on working with those who are bound by addictions or mental illness. It seeks to feed, clothe, help get into programs those who desire repentance and a change in their life.

Foster Kids

Foster Children are often removed from their families due to neglect (such as not providing enough food for a child or leaving a child who is unable to care for them alone) and or physical or emotional abuse. You can make a difference in one person’s life by helping him/her get to camp to experience the love and acceptance of a counselor, fun, and the message of the love of Jesus Christ.

Inner City Kids

Many inner city children do not have the advantages to finance a week of camp. Many have not experienced the out-of-doors in a camp setting that feature swimming, boating, hikes, archery, ropes courses, etc. The love of a counselor and the message of Jesus Christ can be a turning point in these children’s lives.

Military Families

Support Families of Soldiers Stationed in Harm’s Way.
Give help and encouragement to family members who are left behind. Take this opportunity to sponsor a military family for one week of Mount Hermon Family Camp. It’s a gift to military families that most cannot afford! Your support will provide:

  • Camp for a family whose husband/wife is still deployed
  • Help for families reconnecting after reuniting from deployment
  • Special time for a family whose husband/wife is being deployed
