Mount Hermon volunteers serve directly with the staff to improve the facilities, provide service to our guests and contribute unique combinations of experience, maturity and knowledge to a broad range of tasks and projects. Yearly, volunteers have donated over 25,000 hours of their time and service to the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ at Mount Hermon. We encourage you to think and pray about joining.

Kidder Creek Opportunities:
We’re seeking a volunteer who would help us organize and sell items on eBay and Craigslist. Occasionally Mount Hermon has items it needs to sell or discard. We are looking for a volunteer who can evaluate items, do price comparisons, write item descriptions, take pictures, and post the items on Craig's List and eBay. Follow-up with potential buyers and help us complete the transaction with the seller.
We are in need of on-call volunteers to support our Housekeeping Department. Work includes: cleaning rooms, vacuuming, dusting, changing and laundering sheets, cleaning bathrooms, and other general housekeeping duties. These volunteers are mostly needed on Saturdays during summer time and during big “turnovers” between events. No experience necessary, training will be provided. Some personal knowledge of general housekeeping methods is helpful. If you're looking for a fun and active job, this is it!
The maintenance department is looking for a highly skilled electrician or two to assist on a regular basis. Usually, will be working independently on site. If you have the skills and have been looking for a way to give back to Mount Hermon, this is a great opportunity!
Together with like-minded professionals, individuals volunteer their skills and expertise to the functioning of Mount Hermon. To name just a few, this includes: architects, civil engineers, master carpenters, electricians, plumbers, contractors, nurses, doctors, and lawyers.
Local volunteers are comprised of people who live close enough to join us on a regular basis. They take responsibility for certain tasks ranging from administrative work to hostessing and bulk mailings. Each team has a leader responsible for organizing work schedules and assigning tasks.
