Conference Center

Santa Cruz, CA | Family Camp

  • Chief of Staff

    Note: This position is full-time from late May-mid August, but 0-10 hours per week the rest of the year.

    The Conference Center Chief of Staff works to engage in open communication with Summer Staff, continually provide motivation, and focus on ministry goals, and leadership through example to ensure smooth execution of staff roles, continued staff morale, and open and engaging team dynamics in a manner consistent with MHA’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

  • Childcare Assistant Lead

    Child Care Assistant Lead assists the Team Lead and the Family Ministries Children’s Intern in overseeing and leading the childcare staff and program by providing guidance and organization of program activities and curriculum and create an environment that fosters safety and spiritual growth in a manner consistent with Mount Hermon’s mission, vision, and values.

    The Room Attendant Team Lead works to support the MHA ministry by providing clean and comfortable accommodations and a warm and welcoming place where guests can relax and refresh their spirit. The Lead also represents the group of Room Attendants in communication, team building, and assignment quality and completion, and occasionally leads department devotional and prayer time in a manner consistent with MHA's mission, vision and values.

  • Ponderosa Activities Coordinator

    The Activities Lead will lead the daily activities and program at Ponderosa Lodge in coordination with his/her team of specialists. The Activities Lead is responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship, nurturing spiritual growth of campers through program activities and curriculum in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.

  • Redwood Adventure Coordinator

    The RWC Adventure Coordinator oversees the all Adventure and water activities by supervising and supporting the adventure and lifeguard lead. They insure safety and organization, and create and maintain scheduling for water and adventure shifts. They lead and support their team to develop, implement, and oversee operation of RWC recreation facilities and assist with cook-out program as well as teambuilding workshops to provide a welcoming environment and with unparalleled customer service in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.
