Parent-Child Conferences
at Mount Hermon In a fast-paced society it takes effort to slow down and connect with family members. Mount Hermon provides unique opportunities for parents and children to do just that — slow down and connect — while providing valuable direction and memorable experiences. Each weekend combination provides a relaxed setting, fun-filled activities, inspirational song and praise, encouragement and direction through gifted communicators. The parent-child retreats are open to children in 2nd through 8th grades with their parents. The fun doesn’t stop at 8th grade! With the addition of our parent-teen retreat, freshman through seniors in high school can still connect with their parents for a weekend of fun, Mount Hermon-style. These are times you’ll treasure for years to come.

When You Come
Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, with dinner between 6:30-7:30 p.m. The weekends conclude following Sunday brunch, around noon. A detailed letter, along with a list of what to bring to camp, is sent to each registrant two weeks prior to the camp date.
Participation & Cost
The cost for Parent and Child Weekends at Redwood Camp is $163 per person. You may reserve your space by sending in a $50 per person, non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit.
There is no Saturday lunch scheduled; this allows you and your child the opportunity to explore the beautiful area and have a special lunch date on your own. A small fee will be charged for the optional craft project.
Food, housing and all activities are included at a per-person rate. Our typical parent-child retreats are open to parents and their children, grades two through eight. The spring conferences are also open to 1st-graders as a preview to summer Primary Camp. New this year is the opportunity for parents and teens (freshmen through seniors in high school) to join us at Whisper Canyon. Five meals, lodging and all program activities are included in the low per-person cost (except for the Parent-Child Whitewater Rafting, which has different pricing).
Please do not let finances get in the way of a Mount Hermon experience. Through the generosity of many, a partial grant from the Campership Fund may be just the gift you need to make it possible for you to attend camp. For more information and an application, please contact our friendly registration staff.
