Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center & The Renewal Project present a groundbreaking opportunity for Leadership Development In The Redwoods.
- Keith Potter, Senior Pastor, Saratoga Federated Church, after attending the first TEAMinar in Sept. 2007
TEAMinar promises to inspire real change as Ortberg reveals the five key elements of world-class teams:
Genuine trust within the team - Unfiltered discussions
- Steadfast commitment to decisions
- Peer-to-peer accountability
- Unwavering drive to God-focused results
“The biggest opportunity for achieving ministerial excellence is sitting right under our noses—getting people to work together. There is simply no better tool for ensuring success and sustainability than building real teamwork at the center of a church.”
–Patrick Lencioni
Great leaders understand that they must do more than manage people. They need to manage the interactions between people. That’s not a subtle distinction—it’s a critical one. Successful churches build cohesive leadership teams.

In Praise of Nancy Ortberg’s facilitation & Patrick Lencioni’s innovative content
Nancy Ortberg has the incredible ability to take Biblical truths and to apply them to the context of church leadership. Her ability to assess and discern team dynamics and to help lead a team through the process of becoming a driven, purposeful, Christ-centered community is a huge gift to any church!
—Mae Elise Cannon, Executive Pastor Hillside Covenant Church, Walnut Creek, CA
Nancy is a gifted facilitator with extraordinarily clear insight into the sometimes confounding dynamics of church leadership. Blending Nancy’s passion for church health with Patrick Lencioni’s outstanding organizational expertise provides the best of both worlds. With their help I’ve become a better leader.
—Dan Mitchum, Senior Pastor Valley Community Church of Pleasanton, Pleasanton, CA
“Thankfully, Lencioni gives us practical help to transform teams and improve organizational effectiveness. The result is all-important Kingdom impact. In my opinion, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team is probably the best resource yet on teams and healthy team dynamics!”
—Eugene Habecker Christian Management Association
