Fall Spiritual Retreats for Women
NEW! Double Occupancy and Extended Retreat Options
October 30-November 2, 2008 (Extended Option)
October 31-November 2, 2008
November 7–9, 2008
Fall marks a change of seasons and a change of pace, particularly noticeable at Mount Hermon. Leaves change and drop off, squirrels busily gather winter acorns, and deer hold closer to their water sources. Taking cues from fall we too can ease our pace, reflecting on life's changes, gathering wisdom for "winter," and drawing closer to the "Living Water."
Mount Hermon offers two Spiritual Retreat weekend opportunities. The first weekend allows an added day prior to the retreat, extending your experience. This extra day is programmed separately from the regular three-day retreat.
Each retreat's theme will be, "Come and Follow Me." We will provide short sessions of input, followed by extended time alone with the Lord, using materials created to facilitate those times. The retreats are designed for rest, silence and solitude with the Lord, and also include fellowship around meals and free-time activities.
Jayne Price, who began the Spiritual Retreat ministry at Mount Hermon in 1995 (see feature article – page xx), will facilitate each weekend. Robin Spurlock from Twin Lakes Church, Aptos, will lead our worship.
