How do I send mail to my camper? Send camper mail to: Name RWC, cabin # PO Box 1000 Mount Hermon, CA 95041 Parents and friends are asked to refrain from visiting or telephoning campers (except in a case of emergency.) When and where do I drop off campers? Campers are welcome to arrive at camp beginning at 3:00pm on Sunday. We ask that you refrain from dropping students off earlier that 3:00. Registration will be on-going between 3:00pm and 4:00pm on Sunday afternoon. When and where do I pick up campers? Parents are urged to make all necessary arrangement to avoid early pickup of their campers. The camp period is short term, and to be completely valuable to the camper, it must be a full six days. Any requests for exceptions to this must be communicated to the Director of Redwood Camp before the opening of camp. Each camp will conclude following a closing program on Saturday. Parents and Youth Pastors are highly encouraged to attend this meeting to catch a glimpse of the week and conclusion of camp. This meeting runs from 9:00 a.m until 9:40 a.m and included skits, songs, awards and a campership offering. Camp is officially over at 9:40 a.m.. There will be no noon meal served at camp on Saturday.

When and where do I pick up campers? Parents are urged to make all necessary arrangement to avoid early pickup of their campers. The camp period is short term, and to be completely valuable to the camper, it must be a full six days. Any requests for exceptions to this must be communicated to the Ponderosa Program Manager before the opening of camp. Each camp will conclude following a closing program on Saturday. This meeting runs from 10:15 a.m until 11:00 a.m and included skits, songs, team results and a campership offering. Camp is officially over at 11:00 a.m.. Ther will be no noon meal served at camp on Saturday.

Spending money: for options, such as the bookstore, soda fountain, offering, camp picture, Paintball ($15/game),camp video, or Mount Hermon clothing. About $30.00-$40.00 is usually sufficient. Campers keep their ownmoney and are responsible for it. Kidder Creek FAQ Where is Kidder Creek? Kidder Creek is located just south of the boarder between California and Oregon. It is about a six hour drive north from the bay area. From Sacramento it is about a four and a half hour drive north. From Redding it is about a two hour drive north. From Medford, OR it is about an hour and a half south. We are just a half hour outside of Yreka, CA. How can I send mail to my camper? Only campers participating in Ranch Camp, Timberline Classic or High Adventure Camps may recieve mail. Any mail that you wish to send to your camper can be sent to: Camper's Name Ranch Camp/Timberline (dates of the camp) P.O. Box 208 Greenview, CA 96037 You may also send email to your camper by providing the first two lines of the address above and sending the email to office@kiddercreek.org. Please do not send food of any kind. Where and when do I drop my camper off? When you drive up to camp on Sunday starting at about 4pm you will be greated by one of our wonderful staff members before you even get to our parking lot. They will give you further instructions about where to park, drop off luggage and begin the final steps of the registration process. Where and when do I pick up my camper? Our camps end Friday evening with a Celebration BBQ starting by our pond at 5pm. Kids will be brought to this area to meet their parents. The festivities, depending on whether your kids are at Timberline or Ranch Camp will end by 6 or 7 pm. Do you provide transportation from Mount Hermon to Kidder Creek? For an extra cost we do provide transportation from Mount Hermon to Kidder Creek on a weekly basis for five predetermined weeks during the summer. Campers are picked up in front of the Field House at the Conference Center at 6am or at half past 8am at the Walnut Creek BART station. Campers will stay and extra night at Kidder Creek and will then return back to the bay area on the following Saturday. The drop off at Walnut Creek will take place at 1pm with the Fieldhouse drop off taking place at 4pm. We would highly encourage you to take the time to pick up your kids at camp to be apart of our celebration BBQ and as such we also offer one way rates for transportation. - Toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, shampoo, towel, deoderant, ect.)
- Sunscreen
- Good Active Shoes
- Clothes (underware, socks, t-shirts, shorts, at least one sweatshirt, light weight jacket, pajamas)
- Rain Coat
- Modest One Piece Bathingsuit
- Flashlight
- Money for our Snack Shack
In addition, for our Ranch Camp Program: - Riding Boots
- Long jeans/pants for everyday
- In addition you may make arrangements to bring your own horse and riding equipment, but we must know about this in advance.
In addition, for any of our programs that go Whitewater Rafting: - Watershoes or sandals that have a heal strap (tennis shoes that you do not mind getting wet will work but not flip flops)
What should I not bring to camp? - Anything electronic including: Radios, ipods, CD players, hand held game consoles, cell phones, etc.
- Anything expensive: I promise it will get dirty and may be lost.
- Alcohol
- Weapons of any kind
