| AMATA: Wholly Loved & Fully Serving (entering grades 8-10) Our NEW two week camp can be summed up in two words: Beloved & Babysitting. Teen girls will have the experience of a lifetime living in a sweet cabin at Conference Center, being mentored by college-aged staff, and discovering what it means to be a woman of God. Together the girls will journey though scripture discovering the fullness of life in Christ and His Beloved. On top of all this, they will receive professional training and hands on practice baby-sitting. Our Family Camps are soon to be revolutionized and enhanced by the Amata Girls! We still have plenty of room in Weeks 3/4 and 7/8. Having trouble setting aside two weeks in summer? Join us for Week 9... A condensed, one week version of Amata!

SALT Team An opportunity for high schoolers at Kidder Creek! ‘SALT’ stands for Servant And Leadership Training. This team is comprised of 14-20 high schoolers who come to volunteer part of their summer in the ministry here at Kidder Creek. Students volunteer for 3 weeks at a time, and spend their days in a multitude of activities, both serving and being discipled by our college-aged SALT Directors (one male, one female). Our SALT Team works around camp in the areas of food service, maintenance, and housekeeping during the daytime, after a morning devotional time. They also spend time each afternoon running our Snack Shack and playing with campers at the pond. SALT students spend their evenings in group Bible studies, at campfire, or out on a ‘fun night’ activity somewhere close-by. The SALT Team lives in the male and female SALT cabins at Timberline, and their college-aged directors live with them, for a true experience of community-building, discipleship and mentoring. Emily Carlson was new to our SALT Team this year, and shares about what an impact it had on her: “SALT team was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I not only discovered the blessings that come with serving but I was reminded WHY we serve-- to show Christ's love.
I was also encouraged to find others who had a passion to follow Christ and to serve. I found this not only in SALT team members but also in many staff members.
The encouragement and support of the staff members meant a lot to me. God definitely used many of them to help me grow closer to Christ.” SALT Team is not an experience for those who want to just "go to camp," it's for those who want to grow and learn more about what it means to love and know God, how to live and interact in healthy, positive ways with their peers, how to follow a mentor, and to discover the joy that comes from serving others on a daily basis.
