Redwood Camp is home to our youngest campers. For Primary campers venturing out for their first camp experience, we offer a ‘short week’, in fact two sessions. Week 9 (see schedule) campers can come from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, allowing you to either drop off or pick up a junior-aged sibling at the same time, if desired. For veterans ready for a week-long experience, choose Week 5 for double the fun. Camper to counselor ratios are only six to one for the ultimate in tender loving care.

For both Juniors and Primary ages, activities include crafts, nature, swimming, age-appropriate adventure activities like the ‘flying squirrel’, cabin challenges, games, a petting farm, and many traditional Redwood Camp favorites. Walks to the Fountain, model rocketry and other surprises add to the fun. Community times of worship and loving counselors allow for a personal presentation of the message of Jesus Christ.

Primary campers at Kidder can choose Timberline Classic, an all-around experience including crafts, fishing, target sports, the obstacle course, ‘pond time’ with swimming and the waterslide, crazy games and campfire time.

All programs incorporate spiritual truths through teachable moments interwoven with God’s creation and the challenges faced in the course of the camp experience.
