Cure for the Common Camp

Your adventure begins and ends in the cabins at Timberline, but in the middle you’ll head out to sleep under the stars at our Klamath River base camp. You’ll enjoy whitewater rafting, hiking into spectacular waterfalls, and testing your courage on the Kidder Creek high ropes course. Don't forget pond time to complete the experience.

Lessons flow naturally from the many teachable moments embedded in the high adventure experience. Daily devotions, speakers, and counselor-led discussions are geared to help students go deeper socially and spiritually.

This week is for Grades 7-9.

There's always something cool and exciting to make to help you remember your time at camp. Crafts range in ability and appeal for all ages and our counselors make craft time fun for girls and boys.

Outback Challenge High Ropes Course

Our most challenging high ropes experience features seven individual elements up to 35 feet off of the ground.

Adventure Ridge High Ropes Course

Bond with your cabinmates and friends on a high ropes adventure. Once you’re in the trees, you’ll traverse with your partner through nine different elements without coming down in between.

Pond Time

During the heat of the day, the coolest place to be is at Kidder Creek’s pond. Between the waterslide and our famous Aquaglide, the pond offers something for everyone.

Timberline Target Sports

Take aim on a variety of target ranges at Kidder Creek. With our trained staff, slingshots, archery, and riflery will improve your skill as your “best shot” keeps getting better!

Horseback Ride

Saddle up for an hour long trail ride through the trees around camp. Our trained Wranglers will guide you through the basics of horsemanship and western riding before you hit the trail.

Natural Waterfalls

You’ll feel like you’ve entered another world as you hike to a stunning waterfall where you can swim beneath the flow and even jump through the downpour.

Whitewater Rafting - Dragons Tooth (Class IV)

The Dragons Tooth stretch on the Klamath River will thrill seasoned rafters and beginners alike.  Our tallest cliff jump, our most challenging rapid "The Tooth" and a world class canyon hike to Ukonom Falls, are sure to be unforgettable!

Whitewater Rafting - Rattlesnake, Otters, and Gottville Stretches (Class III)

Enjoy Class III rapids that are perfect for beginner and experienced rafters alike.  Cliff jump, swim, get twirled in the whirlpool swimming hole and enjoy the beauty that is enjoyed on the Klamath River.  Eagle, deer and bear are often spotted!

Included in the price:

(5 nights lodging, 16 meals,
program and recreation)

$525 per camper
Experience matters

Since its inception in 1976, Kidder Creek has consistently given young people a dramatic experience in the outdoors. At the same time our well-trained and relational staff leads them to be challenged by the life-transforming message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please do not let finances get in the way of a Mount Hermon experience. Through the generosity of many, a partial grant from the Campership Fund may be just the gift you need to make it possible for you to attend camp. For more information and an application, please contact our friendly Registration staff.
