Brand new family multi-day raft trip!

Experience the Wild and Scenic Klamath River the best way possible! This will be an unforgettable family adventure that you will talk about for years!

During the day you will enjoy floating along and conquering the many rapids, mainly class II-III, (there is one class IV called Dragons Tooth that can be portaged by younger campers). Be amazed at the tributaries that enter through beautiful waterfalls and streams along the banks. At night there will be family dining along the riverside and campfire talks to dig deeper into who Jesus is calling you and your family to be.

Register for Summer 2025 starting November 19th!

Who is this camp for?

Any collection of family ages 7 and older. Single parents, blended families, grandparents, cousins or even groups of friends are encouraged to attend. Each day will have a mix of active and relaxing times and all adventures are "choose your level of challenge."

Prepare

Before Getting to Camp

  • Packing List

In order to make sure the rafting experience is the best for you and your family and since we will be in a wilderness setting for 4 days we require the following items for Family River Camp. All your personal items will need to fit in a dry bag, so be sure to think minimally and pack with lightweight items. Our staff will make sure you have all necessary items before heading out on the river.

    River Gear

    • Modest swimsuit (Ladies for comfort, we recommend a pair of shorts to go over your swimsuit)

    • Sunscreen and Lip Balm
    • Optional - Sunglasses with strap
    • Optional - Long sleeve sun shirt

    Camping Gear

    • 1 Sleeping Bag (preferably mummy-style) with stuff sack

    • Firearms, knives, weapons of any kind
    • Jewelry or other valuables

    Arrival

Please plan to arrive at Curly Jack Campground between 4–5pm on opening day.

    Departure
    • Program will end at 10:30am on Thursday.
  • Where will we sleep?

Guests can choose to stay out "under the stars" or in tents (camping pads are provided, many of the sandbars do not have good trees and so will make finding hammock sites difficult)

  • Where will we use the restroom?

We will provide a portable outdoor toilet with a privacy tent for restroom use while on the river.

  • What will we do each day?

Cliff jumping, white water rafting, an adventure hike to Ukonom falls, swim, camp under the stars, eat great meals prepared by your guides.
