Fathers and Sons need adventures together to strengthen their relationship and give them stories to reflect on in the years ahead. Be challenged through intentional time together doing high ropes courses, whitewater rafting, archery, riding horses, swimming in cold mountain water, jumping off tall stuff and digging into the Bible together.   • Camperships

    Please do not let finances get in the way of a Mount Hermon experience. Through the generosity of many, a partial grant from the Campership Fund may be just the gift you need to make it possible for you to attend camp.

  • Payment Policy
    • Deposits: A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit will be required to complete your registration. Please have a payment method ready to go during the registration process. We accept Visa, MasterCard, or an Electronic Check. Deposits are $150 per child.
    • Total Balance Due 30 Days Out: The total of your itinerary will be due 30 days before the start date of your week of camp. On this day, your account will automatically be charged the remainder of your balance.
    • Cancellations and Changes:
      Until 30 days prior to the event, the non-refundable deposit $150 is retained.
      From 29 days until 22 days prior to event, $225.00 is retained.
      From 21 days until 8 days prior to event, $325.00 is retained.
      If within 7 days of the event, the entire registration cost.
    • Transfer Fees: In the event that you decide to change the week in which your child is attending camp there will be a transfer fee of $25.

Prepare

Things to Know

  • Camping, Food, & Recreation
    Camping
    • Dads and Sons will be camping under the stars in a Forest Service style campground at Kidder Creek. Each dad and son will have their own camping site. Please bring a tent, sleeping pad/cot or hammock and camp chairs to use for the week. Don’t have your own camping equipment? Let us know and we can help to outfit you for the week
    Food
    • Meals are served in one of our outdoor kitchens or dining areas; each meal has a gluten, dairy, and meat free option
    Recreation
    • When not biking, campers will spend time at local swimming holes and at the pond, playing field games, and ending each day with a campfire
  • Packing List
    • Tent, sleeping pad or cot
    • Camp chair
    • Other items for car camping that you normally take camping.*
    • Bible & pen or pencil
    • Warm sleeping bag and pillow
    • Warm-weather & cool-weather clothes
    • Jacket
    • Closed Toe Shoes for ropes course and laser tag
    • Water Shoes for the river
    • Sandals for pond (flip flops ok)
    • Towel, washcloth, soap, toothbrush, toothpast, comb

    Please do not bring anything that would break your heart if you lost it!
    Please label EVERYTHING with camper’s name.

    *If you do not have a tent please contact us so we can make accommodations for you.

  • Important Food Policies
    • We will provide a vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free option at every meal. For Celiac, we will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee against cross contamination.
    • We are a peanut safe camp. We will not serve any peanut product out of the kitchen.
    • Please make sure you have listed the allergies in the medical forms when you register online.

  • Arrival & Departure
    Arrival

      Please plan to arrive at Kidder Creek between 4–5pm. Please contact the Registrar if you plan to arrive after this time. Dinner will be at 6pm followed by our fist session at 7pm. If you have any questions about the weekend, please do not hesitate to call.

    Departure
    • Program will end after brunch at 10:30 AM on Saturday.
