John Jenks

John W. Jenks joined our Advancement Team in August 2015. John and his wife Ann have a rich Mount Hermon story. John accepted Jesus as his personal savior at Redwood Camp when he was 11. He and Ann met while serving on summer staff in 1977 and their two sons, Jason and Brian, also served on summer staff years later. John’s extended family has been attending Mount Hermon Family Camps together for over 20 years. After 24 years as the lead pastor at Cascade Covenant Church in Bellevue WA, John and Ann felt the Lord calling them to make a change in 2013. That began a journey that culminated in John joining our Advancement ministry team this past summer. John says: “Ann and I both have a strong sense of God’s personal calling to Mount Hermon at this time. I’m praying God will use my faith, service and life to encourage many people to participate in and support the exciting things He is doing at Mount Hermon.”

Dave Burns

Dave Burns began his work as Director of Adult Ministries in 2007, after 15 years in pastoral and music ministry, and 20 years of appearing here as a guest worship leader. Dave programs and hosts men’s conferences, couples retreats, family camps, and much more. He is passionate about making Mount Hermon known to those who don’t yet know us, and has spearheaded our Military Campership program, which brings military families to Mount Hermon for a week of Family Camp, at no charge. Dave and his wife, Leslie, live at Mount Hermon, and love keeping our Staff Alumni updated on the amazing work God is doing here.

Andrew Summers

Andrew Summers joined the Advancement team at Mount Hermon in September of 2012. He came into his position after six years on summer staff and two years as an intern. Andrew has worked as a counselor at Ponderosa Lodge, a custodian and staff counselor at the Conference Center, a guest services host, and the program administrator for adult and family ministries. As a summer staff alumnus, he is passionate about connecting with other alumni and getting them reconnected with Mount Hermon.
