About the Bus

Transportation from the Bay Area to Kidder Creek is provided by a bus chartered through Emerald Charters in Medford, OR for most weeks for only $59–$99 each way. (Pricing listed above.) Be sure to sign up for both ways if you desire round trip. If further information is needed call the Kidder Creek registrar at 530.467.3265.

This year, to pass savings along to campers, we have opted to charter an air conditioned school bus. We will be providing some coloring books and other small game items, but We encourage campers to bring books or other things to keep entertained during the drive.

When does the bus leave and return?

For the full pick-up and drop off schedule for each stop, see below.

NOTE: Although camp ends Friday night, campers taking the bus will be staying Friday night as the returning bus departs on Saturday morning at 7am.

How do I register?

Signups for the bus will be available at time of registration.

If you have already registered for camp, please visit your Parent Portal at register.mounthermon.org to sign up for bus transportation.

A note for Mountain Bike Campers

**Mountain Bike campers: If using the bus for your trip, please arrive with your bike in its own box/bag.

Boxes can be found at your local bike shop, they may even help you fit the bike in the box/bag. Our MTB staff will be ready to help assemble your bike when you arrive at camp.
