Noah Reed

Noah is the Next Gen Pastor at Sierra Grace Fellowship in Auburn, CA, where he lives with his wife, two kids, and two golden retrievers. After studying Christian Ministries at Biola University he went on to get his Master's in Christian Apologetics with the goal of educating, equipping, and challenging students to know why they believe what they believe. It's one of his favorite things to take theology or apologetics and make it understandable and relatable. He longs for students to own their faith in a way that makes sense and is freeing and inspiring to the church and world around them. Noah loves burritos more than anyone he has ever met and is always ready to tell you why Wendy's is the worst fast food choice you could make. More seriously, Noah wants you to love and follow Jesus, and know that you are loved and pursued by Him.

Josh Jewell-Horton

Josh is a follower of Jesus, the giver of abundant life. He's been in student ministry for over a decade and has a passion for helping students experience the Spirit of God and see where they fit in the larger story of God's redemption and restoration of his world. Josh is married to Kristin, one of the most gentle, hardworking, and empathetic people currently roaming the earth. Together they love riding bikes, running, drinking coffee, and playing with their cat, Juniper.

Sheri Perenon

With 26 years dedicated to student ministries, Sheri's journey has been profoundly shaped by her faith in Jesus, which ignited during her teenage years and continues to direct her life with freedom and hope. Holding a bachelor's degree in ministry and a master's in biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute, she pursued further academic enrichment, attaining her doctorate in ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. Sheri's passion lies in articulating the transformative power of the gospel of Jesus Christ, a passion she channels into equipping the forthcoming generation of youth and youth pastors across the San Francisco Bay Area. Sheri and her awesome husband Jason are currently residing in Oakland with their two beloved fluffy kitties

Is there someone your camper wants to create lifelong memories with this week? We've got you covered!

Roommate Policy: There is a maximum limit of 3 cabin mates that can be requested to be grouped in a cabin. There are instances where a camper who requests a cabin mate is already linked with someone you may not know. This is still considered a group of three. Your camper will be unable to request or accept any additional cabin mate requests. If your camper has more than three friends in their desired group, we suggest the campers divide into small groups of two or three, so no one is left out!

Follow these directions and let the memories begin!

    1. Click on the Stay With a Friend Icon
      Roommate Requests Icon
    2. Enter the friend's name, their parent's email, and watch for them to approve your request!

You're all set! Make sure you have confirmed your roommate no later than 1 month prior to camp.

Nervous about not having a roommate request? Don't be. There are so many amazing people that will be in your camper's cabin this week, they'll make friends quick and fast!

  • Put Money on Your Camper's Account
    1. Select "Store Account"
      Store Account Icon
    2. Add how much you would like to add and if you would like to donate the balance.

If they run out of money during the week— no problem! Use this same portal to put money into your camper's account remotely.

  • Make Additional Payments

Making a payment on your camper's week is easy. No worries, it's simple.

  • Send Mail

Everybody Likes Mail — Especially at camp! If you would like to guarantee that your camper will get all of their mail from you, bring it with you on Opening Day, labeled with the camper's name and the day you would like it delivered and hand it to our Admin Lead.

    Sending Mail USPS:

    c/o Ponderosa Lodge
    PO Box 413
    Mount Hermon, CA 95041

If you send mail, we suggest mailing it on Monday or Tuesday of your camper's week. Late arriving mail will be returned to sender.

SPECIAL NOTE ON PARCELS TO CAMPERS
Packages are allowed at Ponderosa, but we do encourage keeping them simple in order to keep the tone positive for campers who won't be receiving packages.

Due to food allergies, we are asking parents to minimize or eliminate food in packages at camp this year. Consider adding money to your store card if you are wanting your child to have snacks.

  • Check Out the Photos Online!

See the week as it progresses!

Photographers usually have time to upload the day's pictures each evening.

Something to take note of: there are no cell phones allowed at camp. So, if your camper would like to take their own pictures, they will need to bring an actual camera to make that happen.
