The Katinas are a contemporary Christian music group. They are a family of five brothers. The group's members sang in an Assembly of God church as children, and began playing fairs, soon moving up to nationwide slots opening for Jasmine Guy, DC Talk, and Amy Grant. These vibrant singers are both positively inspirational and delightfully entertaining.
“Doyle is one of the finest fingerpicking guitarists around. I sincerely admire him as a person and as a musician.” – Quote from Chet Atkins.
Although influenced by a wide variety of musical styles and musicians from the country of Chet Atkins to the rock and roll of Duane Eddy and the Beatles, Doyle has developed a distinct, recognizable sound that amazes audiences with skill while capturing hearts with sincerity and soul. He is an American country acoustic guitarist from Jacksonville, Florida. Cited along with guitarists such as Tommy Emmanuel as one of the best fingerstyle guitarists in the world. Doyle is a devout Christian and has served as a minister in a small church in Florida; the influence of Christianity is present in much of his work. Like guitarist Phil Keaggy, whom we have had for three years at these summer concerts, Doyle is both inspiring and entertaining for the whole family.
