Dear Friends, We are having too much fun! I mean it. When our creative goofball programmers get together to talk about how to make the summer of 08 the best ever at Mount Hermon, we laugh and play so hard it barely seems like work. But don’t be deceived … underlying it all is great intentionality. Our hearts are one in desiring that each and every camper who steps out of the car at Redwood Camp, Ponderosa Lodge or Kidder Creek goes home changed. The outrageously fun and memorable experiences are wrapped around meaningful encounters with the Word of God, guided times of silence and solitude, spontaneous worship in the woods or at the beach, teachable moments in the midst of activities, and character-shaping by mature and well-trained counselors. It is clearly God who does the work of changing the heart of a child or teenager. We are preparing to be a dynamic part of that process, before, during and after … using all our creative energy and love for kids to point the way. This brochure includes all of your 08 options for campers from first through twelfth grade at Redwood and Ponderosa in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and at Kidder Creek on the northern California border. All of these spectacular venues offer a great Mount Hermon camp experience for individual campers or youth groups. Let us come alongside you and be another voice, another place, another community that encourages your children or teens on their spiritual journey. That’s all we think about. That’s why we’re here.
