Support Staff Positions

It's easy to think camp is limited to just the people you see on stage or interacting with guests in a public setting. But the reality is that we need you and your gifts to help in many ways to make camp happen. Spend the summer learning new skills and being a blessing by providing some of the most important work behind the scenes.

Conference Center
  • Accounting Assistant

    The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the Accounting Staff with assigned projects related to Payroll, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable in order to provide accurate financial accounting and reporting, in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   • Bookshop Associate

    The Bookshop Associate works to sell and promote books while keeping the Bookshop clean and orderly to ensure the Bookshop provide the best customer service in a clean and welcoming environment in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Read more...

  • Camp Caterer

    The Camp Caterer is responsible for providing excellent meal service to our guests at all off site amps by catering food and beverages from Conference Center in a welcoming, seamless and professional manner with the goal of maintaining MHA’s Standards of Excellence in an effort to bless and minister to guests in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   • Conference Center Crew

    The CC Crew position works with the Facilities Services department to assist MHA as a whole by providing maintenance, rejuvenation, and inventory of all facilities at CC to ensure clean and aesthetically pleasing facilities that enhance rather than distract from the program. Read more...

  • Dining Server

    The Dining Server I provides exceptional service to our Conference Center guests by personally engaging with the guests to make their stay enjoyable while offering food and beverage service, clearing and bussing, and performing setup, reset and cleaning tasks in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   • Family Camp Band

    FC Band lead worship for all youth programs at Family Camp and several additional sessions, as well as model a genuine Christian lifestyle to elementary-age and youth campers, nurturing spiritual growth in order to lead students one step closer to Jesus, in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   • Food Retail Assistant

    The Food Retail Assistant works at the Espresso Cart, Fountain, and Dining Room providing quality customer service in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Read more...

  • Kitchen Assistant

    The Kitchen Assistant will clean dishes, equipment and the kitchen area as needed, and will assist the cooks with food preparation to offer high quality of food products and service to Conference Center guests in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Read more...

    The Registration Assistant works to assist the Registrars in handling of day to day registration detail and procedures, working with conference attendees to provide prompt, courteous, quality customer service in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Read more...

    Summer Staff Room Attendants work to support the Mount Hermon ministry by providing clean and comfortable accommodations and a warm and welcoming place where guests can relax and refresh their spirit in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Read more...

  • Redwood Crew/Program Assistant

    The Crew position works with the Youth Camps Facilities Supervisor to aid Mount Hermon as a whole, providing maintenance, rejuvenation, and inventory of all facilities at Redwood Camp to provide clean and aesthetically pleasing facilities that enhance rather than distract from the program in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Ponderosa Lodge
  • Ponderosa Band

    The Ponderosa Band is responsible to lead worship for all Ponderosa Lodge gatherings and some staff meetings as well as model a genuine Christian lifestyle to junior high and high school campers, providing campers’ safety and well-being while befriending campers to nurture spiritual growth, and cultivating spiritual disciplines through provided programs and curriculum in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. (Applicants must be part of a previously formed band. All members must apply separately for position. Please no bands exceeding 4 members.) Read more...
