Spend the summer in the outdoors walking guests through a thrilling trip along a wide variety of adventure offerings. You will get to experience the beauty of nature while being a part of an unforgettable experience for thousands.

  • Aerial Adventure Guide

    As a Summer Staff Adventure Guide you’ll be trained to lead a safe, exciting and memorable experience for your guests on the Sequoia Aerial Adventure course— a 40+ element challenge course in a breathtaking redwood forest! A big part of your role is to encourage each guest to consider their relationships with others, Creation, and Jesus. Read more...

  • Adventure/Recreation Assistant— Adventure Activity Team

    Lead families on challenge courses, climbing walls, archery, boats, and organize games and tournaments. Everything we do is to help families connect with one another by having fun and to encourage conversations about their relationship with Jesus. Read more...

  • Kidder Adventure Guide

    The Kidder Adventure Guide is responsible to assist and lead campers and staff on the river as a guide and facilitate challenge course activities, rock climbing and other adventure/recreation activities as assigned to ensure that campers have an adventure experience in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   • Kidder Counselor/Wilderness Lifeguard

    KC Counselor/Wilderness Lifeguards are responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship, providing for campers’ safety and well-being while befriending and nurturing spiritual growth through program activities and curriculum on site and in the wilderness, leading/assisting with adventure and recreation activities to ensure that campers have a camp experience in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.     The KC WIT Lead/Counselor cares for and invests in the WITs and their program, spiritually and in their horsemanship skills, and assist in program and maintenance of all activities relating to the care of horses at the KC Ranch Camp to ensure that campers have a safe and engaging horsemanship experience in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.     The Kidder Lifeguard/Health Support Staff assists with maintenance and supervision of all activities and equipment in the Kidder Creek waterfront and pond area to ensure the safety and well-being of campers and staff during all water-based activities enabling students to have an experience consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.     Assist the Adventure Specialist in all adventure and recreation activities at Ponderosa Lodge and the staff who lead them.     Ensures the safety and well-being of campers and staff swimming, kayaking, and surfing.     The Recreation Specialist provides oversight and maintenance of all recreation activities at Ponderosa (including, but not limited to BMX biking, skateboarding, laser tag, paintball activities along with all the activities that happen on the sports court and the rec field) and the staff who lead them to ensure that students have a recreation experience, in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.     Oversee and lead all water-based activities at Ponderosa Lodge (including but not limited to pools, pool/water games, surfing and kayaking) and the staff who lead them.
